The Center for Action and Contemplation offers a rich array of vibrant, online courses. While there is a charge for the courses, the CAC is able to offer a limited amount of tuition assistance (based on financial need) for each online course. Please fill out the online Financial Assistance form for financial support for an online course at least o week before registration is scheduled to close.
The London Jesuit Centre has published its programme for autumn 2021 to summer 2022. Most courses are offered both in-person and online. There are many interesting courses on offer - 'Prayer from Scratch, 'Scripture from Scratch', 'Theologies of Liberation', 'An Introduction to the Old Testament', 'God and Suffering: A Philosophical Approach' - to name but a few. If you are interested in a course, you are advised to book early as they fill up quickly!

The Bible is a great treasure of the Christian world, and source of revelation of God’s word. This course introduces some key elements to understanding the Bible.
Each week there is a recorded presentation which you can watch at any time that suits you. A new presentation is added each week. There is also recommended reading for each week and questions for reflection and research. Each week concludes with a live Zoom seminar led by the course tutor. Seminars will last about an hour. To benefit fully from the seminars you need to have watched the video presentation, done the assigned reading, and spent some time working at the questions for reflection.
