Sacred Music for Lent 

St Thomas Aquinas famously wrote "Who sings, prays twice!" Below are two compilations of Lenten hymns. They are subtitled so you can sing along with them.

Here are 90 minutes of music for Lent accompanied by lyrics, recorded live by the Sunday 7pm Choir and the SFDS Combined Choir at St. Francis de Sales Parish in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.

This collection focuses on hymns for Lent from the Anglican tradition. It is compiled by Richard McVeigh, who worked as full-time organist at the Cathedrals of Sheffield, Chester, York and Winchester giving concerts around the UK as well around Europe. He is  Assistant Organist at Arundel Cathedral and Assistant Director of Music at Romsey Abbey.
