If New Pilgrim Path has a favourite website from over nine years of trawling for uplifting websites to share on our website, it is Pray As You Go (PAYG), a daily online audio guided prayer session provided by the English Jesuits. Between 10 and 13 minutes in duration, Pray As You Go’s reflections are designed to help you pray whenever you find time. For mobile devices, simply download the "Pray As You Go" app. It is used 30 million times a year.
This Lent, beginning on Ash Wednesday, 18th February 2026, PAYG invites you to join an audio Ignatian Prayer Adventure.
Deriving from the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius, its offering for each day of Lent is the most valuable we have encountered to date. The theme this Lent is “The Holy Longing”.
The eight-week schedule makes it perfectly timed as a Lent and Easter retreat, but the adventure can be started at any time, on your schedule. Join in a flexible experience of daily prayer and reflection. Choose to commit to a regular period of prayer each day, or start with only one day a week. Use as much or as little of the material as helps you in your Ignatian adventure!

Join us in Sacred Space as we journey together through Lent, praying each day with scripture and reflecting on how we can engage practically with our faith. Reading the bible is a lovely habit to have. Setting time aside in our day to commune with our Lord is what strengthens us as Christians. How much better could we be, though, if we engaged practically with what we read? If we lived the words on the page? If we put these lessons into practice? Lent is a time to renew our faith, hope, and love, and to focus on what matters most in life. May this simple retreat bless everyone who prays with it, and remind us that we are part of the Sacred Space family, united in prayer and actions with brothers and sisters all over the world.
