Patrick Comerford is a priest in the Church of Ireland (Anglican), the Priest-in-Charge of Rathkeale Group of parishes, Canon Precentor of Saint Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick, Saint Flannan’s Cathedral, Killaloe, Co Clare, and Saint Brendan’s Cathedral, Co Galway. He has been Lecturer in Anglicanism, Liturgy and Church History in the Church of Ireland Theological Institute, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the University of Dublin (Trinity College Dublin). For many years, he worked as a journalist with the Lichfield Mercury, the Wexford People and The Irish Times, where he was Foreign Desk Editor until 2002. Canon Comerford's prolific blog is original, thought-provoking, informative and entertaining.

Fr. Paddy Byrne is a curate in Portloaise Parish and writes a regular column in the newspaper, Laois Today. . Aged 42, he is the youngest priest in his diocese and a priest very much of the changing church of Pope Francis. "The World Seen from the Cloister" is a blog written by Benedictine nuns from Holy Trinity Monastery, formerly of East Hendred, now at Howton Grove Priory, U.K. The nuns prefer to call themselves cloistered rather than enclosed because "the word ‘enclosed’ may suggest a closed mind". They have a special interest in using contemporary technology to reach out to people who would never otherwise come to the monastery.
