The Gospel reading for the 4th Sunday in Advent in many Christian denominations is the story of the Visitation. The superb Jesuit Advent online series, Arts & Faith, concludes its 2021 Advent series with a glorious meditation on the 1910 painting, The Visitation, by Edward Ossawa Tanner – the first African American to gain international artistic acclaim.

From 22nd November six video presentations will be available online from Tarsus Scripture School, which is headed by distinguished Bible scholar, Kieran O'Mahony, OSG. The presentations can be viewed in your own time.There will also be a live online webinar on 8th December and a guided meditation on 15th December. Note: there is a charge of €20 for the course.
