Pope Francis describes the Internet as offering “immense possibilities for encounter and solidarity. This is something truly good, a gift from God". Three pictures on this page show Sceilig Michael, an ancient monastic site off the south west coast of Ireland. It was the culminating point of a pilgrimage route which ran from Palestine to Ireland. Today, many people will know Sceilig Michael as the location for the last scene in the 2015 film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Ancient meets new!
